And it tells time
i bought mine a month ago. At 79 years of age at first I felt overwhelmed. Can I get this device to even tell time? I had a Fitbit before. One shower ended its life. At least it died clean. it had been so long since I had purchsed a smart watch I was shocked to

Not Happy
I have problems with the Vivoactive 5 watch and need to do an upgrade.
The features don't always work correctly, and it's not much better than the vivoactive 4.

My first and favorite smartwatch
It’s been almost 1-1/2 years since I bought this, and I’m still happy with my purchase! I bought this because I wanted to track my swimming (I’m a biker and love tracking stats, but I needed something that worked in the water). I love how it also tracks my sleep and rest, had many options for sports, and can be paired with my phone )no, thanks; I love being able to disc...

Battery Issues
I received this tracker for Christmas from my son. I like all the features, but I had to shut most of them off because my battery only lasts a day. Even with things shut off, like pairing to my phone, the Pulse Ox, notifications and others, I have to charge it every day. It is not convenient if I have to spend time charging it, instead of using it.

Not a good watch
I ordered a vivoactive and after four days of wearing it was clear that it dint accurately track steps, I.e. ran 8 miles and the steps were 13,000. I contacted Garmin support and they were glad to replace it. I Sent it in and 10 days later received a new vivoactive. I wore it two days and the same issue exists. I had an 11 mile day plus shopping and it only register...

Wonderful
I bought this watch after having the Venu 3. This one seemed to be a better fit for me. I am a health and PE teacher and I enjoy running. This watch is perfect for me and my daily needs. Love the size and display. This watch is much thinner than the Venu which I prefer. Additionally, the band on this watch does not irritate my skin. The Venu band severely irritated my s...

Great watch and price!
I'm so picky but after trying the Apple watch Series 9, Garmin Vivoactive 6, Garmin Venu 3S, the Vivoactive 5 is perfect for me. It does what the Vivoactive 6 does but not as much storage capacity, which I really don't need. And the price is excellent!

I love Garmin so much that I bought another!
I bought my vivoactive 5 the end of December as a Christmas gift to me. I had a venue square which I had gotten December of 2021. The venue square was not giving me any issues, I just wanted the vivoactive 5 for some features that the venue didn't have. I'm still learning the features of the vivoactive but I'm very happy with my new watch. I gave my daughter the ven...

Great battery life
I have had my vivoactive 5 for two weeks now. I simply love it. I was looking for a watch that had a longer battery life than my Lily 2 classic. (which I loved). I get 9 days before I have to charge. Still learning how to use all the features. Ony thing I really not keen on is the band. But easy to change.

Happy so far
I used a vivoactive 4 for quite a few years and I was overall happy with it. I have been looking at the 5 for months and my wife bought one for me for Christmas. There is a bit of a learning curve, perhaps slightly frustrating at times but now that I've worked through that, actually prefer the interface. I still occasionally forget how to do things like advance set in a...

Great watch for someone like me who appreciates the simple aesthetic and design but also wants a watch that accurately tracks mileage. I switched to this watch from an Apple Watch and it’s safe to say I’m never going back. The numbers and data this watch collects seems very accurate and has a seem less connection to strava. This is great for a runner who wants the stats...

Where are the elevation fields
80% of the reason I purchased a Garmin watch was to track elevation. The elevation fields are not available on the Vivoactive 5 like the were on the vivoactive 4. The other 20% is to track distance, which I can confirm this watch does still do :(
