Before use on course.
This is the most poorly explained product I have bought in a long time. Even the sellers seem confused on set up and options

Light and Works Great
Bought this a few months ago and have liked all the features it has come with. Using it for golf was smooth and easy.

Garmin could do better with the wrist band
I love the S50, but Garmin made the wrist band too short. I have average sized hands and find it very difficult to get the band over my hand. I think Garmin just wants you to spend more money on a new, larger wrist band.

GREAT GIFT
this was a Christmas gift i received. i have never owned a watch before have always used range finders. Wasn't sure of yardage but check with other partners who has Garmin's and they were right on, lot easier for sure. Great gift

First smartwatch
Bought this for two reasons. As I've got older, keeping track of health factors has crept into my daily routines. This watch clicks all the Boxes for that portion. Second is the Golf portion..Seeing I live in NY, I have yet to try this on the course, but am looking forward to trying it out. I'm sure I will not be disappointed.

Watch is great but...
The watch is great and works well with the CT1 but there are some backend issues that are frustrating.
1. GPS location is about 20-30 feet off (Hawaii) so it make the putter tracking almost useless because my location is never on the green.

Great Golf GPS
I really enjoy many aspects of the watch for golf. I also wanted it for playing my music when I run. I haven't been able to try that yet, but it seems a bit complicated to get that all set up.

Easy to use !
Been very happy with my purchase of the Approach S50. Additional features vs. my old VivoActive. User friendly when playing golf, tracking daily steps or going for a run!

Only one major flaw
I been wearing the watch for nearly a month and love all the features. The only flaw - the strap loop connection. The nylon strap barely fits through the metal loop and you need a very steady hand and two teeth to grab the material and pull through the loop.

Great golf watch - Questions about fitness feature

So far so good...
The Approach S50 was purchased because the Venu watch I was using would exhaust the battery in 18 holes, had to make sure it came right from the charger to the course. The S50 is much improved in regards to battery life. I like the fact I don't have to preload courses prior to heading out to each course. GPS figures out where I am. What I don't like is the wrist ban...

Great approach watch for 5 to 10 handicappers
After three rounds of golf, I noticed that I needed a little bit more detail therefore I traded it in for a S 70 which fits my needs. I am a four index looking to get to a three at 72 years old. I needed something that can detail my length of each club. Also the benefit of a caddy.

great golf watch, velcro band a joke!
updated from Garmin s40. many additional golf features plus health data. Unfortunately the 'Velcro" band is a good idea but apparently sized for a child's wrist. You have to completely pull the end of the band from the loop and try to reinsert through the loop while trying to hold it around your wrist. A simple fix would have been to add 3/4" or 1" length to the b...
