Excellent tracking and display, a major step up
I bought my 165 as a replacement for my 55 Forerunner. The 165 improves upon the 55 not only in its tracking of running and fitness data, but also in its sleep tracking, which is more detailed and seems to be significantly more accurate. The display is also a step-up.

Decent watch so far-troublesome software.
The watch is easy enough to read and has plenty of options but the set up of the watch has been a problem. I expect to be able to hit the activity button,easily pick run and hit start like my prior garmin watches. Great watch!
It’s serving its purpose - suggested a training plan for my first marathon, and the battery life is good.

The watch is okay. Apps not so much. Having two apps is uncalled for today. Took the watch back and will return to Amazfit.

I upgraded from my Garmin 55 and am so happy I did! The 55 still works fine, just battery life was becoming unreliable after 6 years.

Very powerful
I bought this a few weeks ago am still discovering what it can do. Definitely more complex than any I’ve had before. A few types of exercise have not been found as of yet, but not giving up on it.

Love the Forerunner
I love that this watch is easy to use. I had my last Forerunner for 12 years, and everyone was recommending that I upgrade to some fancier Garmin, but I stuck with this one. It has all the features I need and more.

Great Features
I had to purchase a new Garmin about a month ago because my other Garmin broke. A piece of the watch face where the band attaches chipped off. The watch itself is still in working condition. Love my Forerunner 165
Love it. I mainly bought it to do more swimming drills and love how it works. It doesn’t change screens or get affected by water touching the screen.

Great bang for your buck
Upgrading from a Garmin Forerunner 245 to a165 has been really nice. Love the newer screen. It works well and have always appreciated the long battery life.

Watch says 11 days of battery life but I’m getting 5 days. I would have bought the next level if I had known but it’s still better than my old name brand watch.
