Love it!
Earlier in the year I bought an Apple Ultra 3 which is a great watch. I’ve owned a few Garmin products in the past. Got out of running 5 years ago but trying to make a slow and steady comeback. I’m also an avid hiker. At 57 my comeback is going to take time and will involve monitoring a lot of variables that the Garmin allows. I love the feel of a round watch over a squ...

LTE is terrible and phone sync always fails
This is a great sports watch, but the LTE feature often fails to update the weather on the device. Additionally, synchronization with the iPhone frequently does not work, requiring you to open the app to force updates. While it excels as a sports watch, it falls short in smartwatch capabilities. Given these issues, it does not seem worth the price, especially since you ...

SOS doesnt function
The SOS function doesnt work because it wont connect to satelite even with a clear view of a cloudless sky right near town...this was the main reason I got the watch

Ups and downs
I upgraded from an EPIX, primarily because I wanted the LTE/Satellite features. Those seem to work fine, but I was negatively surprised that a few basic features I enjoyed with the EPIX are not available on the Fenix. (e.g. top speed in knots and ability to have AOD during an activity, but not otherwise)

Impressive Watch - Still Struggling with InReach
I had an Epix 2 for several years and loved it. I was very excited to move up to the Fenix 8 Pro. I had a 47mm Epix so I bought a 47mm Fenix. The Fenix display has noticeably more visible area than the Epix in the same watch diameter. Very nice.
One of my main reasons for stepping up to the Fenix 8 Pro was the built in InReach functionality. I used to carry a SP...

Awesome
I love this watch very much. I’m mad I bought the captain gen 2 first and spent much more. Has way less capability.

Very Happy With My Fenix 8 Pro
I’ve been really enjoying my Garmin Fenix 8 Pro. It looks great on the wrist and feels very solid. I use it for walks, runs, and bike rides, and it has been reliable for everything I do. The tracking has been accurate for my workouts and the battery lasts a long time, so I do not have to think about charging it often. It fits well into my daily routine and I like checki...

Best watch. Period.
It is capable of doing everything I needed to do, give me all the data I need, and see or limit any notifications I want. Hands-down worth every penny. You will not go wrong buying this watch!

4 stars because no Apple Music but gave a 5
Switch from apple. Took a minute to adjust to it. The only notifications that do not come through are my messages from my iphone but from all other apps notifications such as Discord, Facebook etc. they do appear. I would suggest to them to attempt to add Apple Music since it is the app i pay for and would prefer to avoid another subscription and if possible partner up ...

Outstanding Watch from a Brand I Trust
I’ve been a longtime fan of Garmin, and the fēnix® 8 Pro continues to prove why. This watch is incredibly well-built, reliable, and packed with features that actually matter—whether you’re training, hiking, traveling, or just going about your day.

The performance, battery life, and accuracy are exactly what I’ve come to expect from Garmin, and the fēnix 8 Pro raises ...

Great watch but not very durable.
Fuctonally this watch is a major upgrade from my Forerunner 945. I haven't had a chance to test it off the grid yet but I'm happy with the run metrics and quick GPS connection. One MAJOR dissapointment is how easy it is to scratch and scuff the "titanium" bezel. Within 2 days there are marks from simply putting my hands in a coat pocket and brushing past a zipper. Or mi...

Surprisingly, it has greatly improved usability.
But I'm disappointed with LTE, I thought it would work like the smartwatches of Apple and Samsung.

Unbelievable watch that does everything I need
I've had the Fenix 8 Pro for a couple of months now. I absolutely love it. It gives me all I need from a smart watch and more. I sail, dive, bike, run, and strength train. The Fenix 8 Pro keeps track of all my activities and gives me feedback on how I'm training.
I really appreciate the sleep score and the body battery metrics. These have made me more self aware of ho...

Very well constructed
I have been a Garmin user for over 20 years, and the Fenix 8 Pro continues to set the standard for high-performing activity watches. The AMOLED is the primary reason for my jump to this watch, as my EPIX 5 was good, but nothing like the Fenix. I am pleased and would recommend this watch for your next upgrade!

Auto Dim is killing a great watch
This is a great upgrade from my Forerunner 955. In general I really like having LTE for live track (even though we still need the ability to easily turn it on and off).

However, the reason it is hard to recommend this watch is due to the auto dimming “feature” which makes it very difficult to read in low light conditions. Even with brightness set to maximum, in low l...

Exceptional Upgrade!
Upgraded from my Fenix 6 and really appreciate what the Fenix 8 Pro brings to the table. Being able to Mtb untethered and still message friends/family is a game changer. The amoled display is a huge upgrade, I keep the brightness at the lowest level and have no issues seeing it in the sun. My only complaint is my bank and credit card are not supported on Garmin Pay, ...

Terrible Battery life
Lots of nice features but the battery does not last more than 3 or 4 days before having to charge. My Fenix 7 would last at least a full week with the same amount of activities.

Simply Outstanding
The Fēnix 8 Pro 47mm AMOLED is, without exaggeration, the most impressive smartwatch I’ve ever worn. Garmin has managed to refine an already legendary line into something that feels both ruggedly professional and genuinely luxurious.

The AMOLED display is the star of the show—bright, razor-sharp, and incredibly easy to read in any lighting condition, from direct sunl...
