Delivers accurate reads
Love this device, got it for my birthday and it has great analytics and insight into you seeing, distance, and many other metrics. Playing on the app is great and seemless and affordable

Questionable numbers
At the moment the yardage is completely off. Way more then the expected 10 yards you can lose using a simulator device. The path numbers are ridiculously off. I’m a solid 12 HDCP know my stock swing pretty good but these numbers have me shaking my head. I’ll try some tweaking with the environment. Hopefully it helps. The plus it’s easy to set up.

Setting this R-10 unit up on my iPad?
Why can't I use my iPad to set up this Approach R-10 unit? I have downloaded the app, but it does not allow me to blue tooth it.

Could be better
The garmin is a good budget launch monitor, my only issue was with my short range shots. I purchased RTC balls. They weren’t picking up well and they weren’t very accurate. I made sure to add adequate space between myself and the monitors and my impact screen and also made sure the device was level. It wasn’t picking up my chips at all and my drives/woods didn’t feel ac...

Great golf assistant
This product is the golf coach you never had. I am 63 years old and it has helped me to drive the ball further with more accuracy. it has even helped my short game from 100 yards in. The best item I have ever purchased.

Game changer
Newer golfer. Excellent training tool. Club speed and squaring the club is so important. You can review after every shot. I have increased my club speed over 10 miles per hour since I bought R10. My smash factor has improved so my club is getting square. So inexpensive for the value.

Great product
We have had this Garmin Approach R10 for 2 months. Have been very happy with all the features and information it provides about the golf swing. Easy to set up and start hitting balls.

Buy it !
I was a little skeptical but after having this R10 for a month. I am really enjoying the features and small size. I use mine in the back yard and have no issues . Also, I do use the E6 app with the free courses. It can be done!

Great Launch monitor after add-ons
After adding other software it becomes a great tool. With RCT balls it tracks spin accordingly. The Garmin platform for the sim/launch is just OK, but other software works well and tracks well. Fits in golf bag for range sessions and can be set up to hit into a net at home for a cheap sim and practice tool.

Gizmo Galore
I received this for Christmas and I have been able to use it twice. [Winter] However, it seemed intuitive and gave me good feedback almost instantly. I found it easy to use and all the setup functions were smooth. I was able to go from opening the box to the driving range almost instantly.

Growing pains
I have tried this several times in the room where I have a golf net ( with targets, etc. ) and I can't seem to get it work much at all. It gives me clubbed speed numbers dramatically lower than my numbers in my coach's simulator, and I can't find the shot specifics or video record functions. I'm having my golf pro go through it next week at my next lesson

Great product!!
Received as a gift for Christmas. Charged it before using. I’ve used the Garmin R10 approximately 15 times and haven’t had to charge it yet. Using Awesome Golf app and it has worked great so far.

Great tool to help you improve your golf game.
I bought it about a month ago to improve my golf game and it’s a great tool to help you get better and a great tool to practice on the off-season inside.

Mixed thoughts
My kids got the launch monitor as a gift. After 3 sessions, I’m getting too much info and according to the distance total, I’m hitting my driver 210 yrds. I’m watching a lot of YouTube to see what three things I should focus on and how I know the distance is accurate.

Awesome training
Got this for Christmas and it has made going to the range more like practice without hitting ball after ball I am able to get good data and confidence and playing a round on the garmin is better than trying to play in your head

Perfect tool to support my golf training
I bought it three years ago, and use mainly the range features during my winter sessions.
The only measure I miss is „low point“
