Why not for EF
My only criticisms of that it's not available for EF.

Canon RF 24-70mm f/2.8 L IS USM
This is a nice lens, it is Canon L glass so you can be sure it is a quality lens. It is fast and quiet and is a nice addition to your kit. This lens uses the USM focus system and has image stabilization.

Great all around standard zoom lens
Have had this lens for about 9 months. Ideal focal length for variety of shooting scenarios, fast 2.8 constant aperture, and very good image quality make this an awesome lens for just about any type of photography. Astro, landscape, portrait or whatever, it does not disappoint. The only downside of this lens is how heavy it is but that is only a testament to the build q...

My first Canon RF lens
I recently purchase a Canon R5 MkII body with a EF adapter. I have a large quiver of EF lenses, including a EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II that has been used hard and put away wet. It worked fine on the R5, but I was tempted with the claimed 5 stops of image stabilization on the RF24-70mm F2.8 L IS USM. I am very happy with this new version, my most useful lens.

No Comparison
I purchased this lens last week and spent the weekend recreating photos I shot over the last year using the RF 50mm 1.8 STM and the RF 24-105 kit lens that came with my R6 Mark II. This is my first L lens, but there is no comparison. The sharpness and color is amazing - I am just an amateur, but the gear really can help!!

this is my workhorse lens
when canon first announced the rf series i took them seriously. i went and purchased an r5 with this lens and havent looked back. its fast, reliable, and tough. it does its job with no hangups and is at home in the south dakota wilderness as much as it is in a wedding in casper, wyoming. an absolute must have for the seasoned pro or person about to go pro.

Canon RF24-70 Review
I bought this to go with my R5 for travel and portrait photography. It is a great addition to my kit an day go to lens for a recent trip to Greece. Very happy with the flexibility of range of focal length and the sharpness of this lens.

Incredibly Versatile Lens!
I bought this Lens for my R6 MKII and it captures video and photo at an amazing range. The feature of having 2.8-22 aperture makes adjusting lighting and focal length super well! This has been the lens I use for 95% of my projects and I could not be happier with the level of quality that Canon provides with this product.

My go to lens!
Finally made the switch over to RF glass! And SO happy I did!! This lens is sharp, fast, and quiet! I love everything about this lens, and while it is expensive, I will have it in my bag for many years to come.

Part of the trinity of lenses. )ne of the best lenses I have owned.
So far the switch to the R5 and R6 with RF glass has been great. The 24-70 is super sharp. The price of the RF glass is high, too high, but this is a great.
