A piece of string and 2 tin cans
I struggled with this cable for 2 days to complete the data and program transfer. If failed every time so I returned the product. Purchased a different cable and successfully completed the transfer. I strongly advise against buying/using this cable.

The review requires a "star rating." I gave it 3 stars trying to be noncommittal. It didn't work for me. That might be because of my tech limitations. It could work fine for someone else.

Looks like it works
I was able to actually connect and read my USB drives on my laptop...so it was easy to connect and actually works. Reasonable for the cost.
