very reliable cable modem
The CM700 is a very reliable cable modem. I did have to do one hard reset to factory defaults shortly after I put it into service. But, I believe this was due to my ISP altering its configuration. The cable modem has worked flawlessly ever since.

modem is Junk
I've had the modem a few years and and use it about 3 month a year. This year it just started to reset it self very often to the point it would do it if I ran a simply speed test. would not recommend it.

Great Modem
I’ve had this modem for several years now and it works great. Compatible with our internet provider, this modem has saved us hundreds on equipment rental. Works great on Comcast
I replaced my rented modem with this modem to get rid of the monthly rental. Easy set up with one call or Comcast. The Comcast automated app did not work. It’s been a month and all is good.

Good update!
ISP informed me I needed a new modem. CM700 fit their requirements. Easy to set up once i connected it and powered it up. Just like previous NETGEAR Modems.

Excellent Performers
We have 600mbps Xfinity service. RAV10 router and CM700 modem are perfect WiFi 6 combo to provide high availability service. We have 20 devices including printers, Sonos speakers, Google TV, phones and tablets. Very satisfied with products and Netgear phone support.

Fast and durable
I work from home and almost everything in the house needs WiFi. This modem currently has 15 devices showing attached, the signal is not weak. Glad I took the leap and bought this durable netgear.

Tv has difficulty connecting at times
Frequently several of my smart TVs have difficulty connecting and i must turn off the modem and restart it. Not fun or convenient
