Bad product
This is third TI calculator with bad battery . TI has known about it for at least two years when we bought the first one for our kids. Have to call customer service and wait a week and a half to two weeks to get a new one. tI should pull these off the shelf and correct the problem not the the consumer have to deal with it.

Did not work
Took it out of the package and charged it all day. Screen keeps flashing. Will be returning it tomorrow

TI-84
After 36 years I retired as a research forester on Jan 1 2000. Then I went to work as math instructor at Hawaii Pacific University and acquired a TI-83. It was a great change from the HP calculators or programming main frame computers in FORTRAN My 2nd TI was a TI-84 Plus. but you had to unarchive a program to run it. Batteries!
I didn't realize this thing had no batteries. Now it's one more critical item to remember to charge for my kid who is still working on remembering to bring it to class. Not a Staples problem but I wish TI had an option with batteries.

2nd calculator with defect battery
I purchased 2 of these 5 days apart and they both came out of the package with the same defect. When i looked it up i found that this is a common issue with these products. I shouldn’t have to purchase a new battery for a $150+ calculator. And i shouldn’t encounter the same problem more than once.

I think it awesome
At the beginning my son thought it was not charging but he was just impatient to keep it charging after leaving it to charge it worked and it has been great.

Broken. Won’t charge
This is the second time we have purchased this item. First one works just fine. The one we just purchased will not charge. Frustrating because we bought it in the store and now have to travel to return it and get a replacement. There are no stores near by so this has now become laborious through no fault of our own. Sigh.

Excellent Calculator
Everything that one needs in a graphing calculator along with being light and having a rechargeable battery that has a good charge. This is a great buy - definitely worth the investment.

Battery dead when purchased
Battery was completely dead when I opened the package. I had to call TI and order a new one. My daughter has yet to use it since we’re waiting for the new a battery still.
