Bad purchase
My two pencils arrived promptly after my in-store purchase packed in a box the size of a microwave. This is ridiculous irresponsible and a waste of resources. A padded envelope…or even just having the item available in-store would be better for STAPLES’ bottom line not offend the customer and lower STAPLES’ carbon footprint. Lazy management.

Pentel quicker clicker automatic pencils
The all broke within days of starting to use them. Will never purchase or recommend them to anyone.

These are the best mechanical pencils around! These are the only ones to buy.
I've been using these for 25 years. I was first introduced to them when I was in intern in engineering engineering department. This was on the tail end of drafting by hand. Best mechanical pencil been using it for years
This mechanical pencil was what I used in grade school through high school and still use now at work. Bought some for my son's that love them for school and had to have some this new school year. They have used when in grade school and now in middle school. They will pass this pencil love to their kids as well I am sure of it.

Comfortable to hold easy to use

Best Mechanical Pencil Ever!
I like to do Crossword Puzzles and so I carry around a book with me at all times. Now a regular pencil will have the tip broken in a few days or get so dull you can't write with it. You can get a callus from gripping it too hard and with a regular mechanical pencil when the tip gets dull it's inconvenient to pump the top of the pencil. All of those problems are solved w...

essential genealogy tool
Have these all over my condo & house to say nothing of my briefcase and computer case. Even put my name & address sticker on them so they will be returned. Essential tool to use in a library or repository when doing research. You never run out of lead or eraser could not live without.

Best Automatic Pencil Ever
I love these and use them constantly. In fact they're the only type I use when I can find them. I was so glad when I discovered them and Staples.

the "only" mechanical pencil
this is the *only* mechanical pencil to consider. the clicker is at your fingertips where you can advance the lead effortlessly. the eraser is nice and big (yes i use that too much :-)

Pentel Quicker Auto Pencil.
I use these all the time. especially in purse or any other attaché case or luggage. Not at risk of leaked ink. I prefer the .07 mm ones over the .05s which are very thin and break a lot. Still handwritten some things which I can do much faster than tapping out on a tablet.

I have used the Quicker-Clicker Automatic Pencil for about 30 years. .5mm is the greatest. I use it for everything except for signatures.
