Pleasantly surprised to find how good a refurbished MFC-L5850DW is. Besides the fact that it came in a refurbished box, the 5850 looked new and functions perfectly. I did check the print usage on mine and it had less than 10 pages printed--perhaps that was due to testing. The printer arrived on time and as scheduled, it was full of marking and dust which I assumed since it was refurbished that would explain it. The printer always disconnects from wifi, difficult to print via phone for its always not connected. When it prints it prints great the few times I have tried, gave it one for the continued issues, maybe my luck would had been bet...

We bought this refurbished printer, it works great and we bought it at a great price. Delivery was a head of scheduled and we were pleasantly surprised.

Horrible refurbished unit
I bought this and dint use it for a month. When i went o use it, it prints black dots in the middle of page - tried re-seating the toner and drum but problem exists! I called staples but to my shock they were of no use - they asked that i contact brother. I did contact them and they suggest i buy a new drum! i've only printed less than 30 pages! I wil never buy refurbis...

So far so good....however
The printer does not give a low toner notice...it will just STOP and you will have to put in a new one...so have one ready at all times...

Printer it self working good as a refurbished but it was never told on the ad that printer has lots of scratches at front and in the top.It was misrepresented by mistake or on purposely I don’t know but will be more careful next time before make a blind trust.

Great printer for the Price
Printer works great, easy to set up and use. I purchased a refurbished printer and using and/or looking at it you would think it was new. I only wish the paper tray held more paper, but that's the only draw back.
