Expensive but lasts a Long Time
My Canon Image Class printer requires these expensive cartridges but last a long time and they make sharp clear copies. Great printer for printing lots of color or black and white copies.

the price is ridiculous
brand name toner cartridges are prohibitively expensive. while a viable business might benefit from marginally increased reliability the pricing is not beneficial for private use.

OEM Works Best!
I tried cheaper and remanufacture but OPEM is the only ones that work well with my six year old printer. Staples prices as good as any.

Canon 045 Black Standard Yield Toner Cartridge
Canon 045 toner cartridges are so easy to install just simply remove from package and drop in ink tray! No fuss or mess. And recycling the used cartridge to be added to one’s account is a great incentive for future use!
