My girls loved this toy!!1
I have two girls, age 5 and 2-they both loved the acorn set. My 5 y/o loves matching the items to the letter acorns. My 2 y/o enjoys opening the acorns and putting the toys inside. They will play together w/this set for at least an hour every time! If you are looking for an educational toy that captivates little ones, this is for you!

sad experience
The concept of the Alphabet Acorns is good. However, it was missing 2 items when I received it. I have contacted LR twice over the past year but have been ignored. I expected better service from LR.

Great for imagination and playing together
My grandson and I like playing with these. Great for encouraging letter association with words. Tops are easy to remove but difficult to get back on and closed. He loves pulling out the objects inside and then finding other objects that start with the same letter.

So simple, but so many ways to play!
This toy is so simple, yet provides so many ways to play. Great product for helping my energetic son learn!
My son was so excited to use this educational toy from the moment he saw it! We received alphabet acorns for free from Learning Resources in exchange for an honest review. The best toy!
This toy is so much fun! Such a fun way to learn you abcs as well as words that start with each letter that's easy to remember! As well as color coordinating!

Disappointed
I typically love Learning Resources toys, they are always well made, and this one is no exception. Unfortunately, neither my 2 or 4 year old were interested in this toy. My 2 year old took off every lid and that was all she did with it. Great for letter recognition
My son loves these acorns & recognized them immediately from Ms. Rachel. He loves opening the acorns and seeing what's inside. Fun!
I really love that this can be used in a variety of ways and seemingly for a range of ages as well. Perfect for toddlers learning their alphabet!
My 3 year old loves playing with these! I recommend getting a little basket to store them in! Tons of little pieces that can easily get lost. We only take these out for a more structured play time and put them back immediately to good loosing any of the pieces! They are also very easy for little hands to open and put the lids back on the acorns!

My daughter loved it!
My daughter had so much fun with this new toy! I love how it teaches her different things like colors, alphabet, uppercase and lower case, and so much more! It's also made with extremely durable material.

My 3 year old loves this!
My daughter loves this. She is 3 and is in the process of learning her letters and basic counting. She loves the pieces and being able to put together the acorns and mixing and matching the colors. So happy!

After time, they won't close
I really do love this product, but after having these acorns for awhile, they no longer go back together. This has been a great product for me to use in speech therapy. Sad they no longer work.

Acorn alphabet hunt with writing

Makes Learning the Alphabet Fun!
My four year old grandson is learning his letters, so this is a fun way to help him learn. He loves to put the little objects in the acorns and put the top on, which I didn't think were too difficult to snap on. I like that you can put other small objects in the acorns to keep it interesting.
