Does not last!
These Brother cartridges do not last. I purchase all new cartridges on 4/9/18 and now had to reorder today, 4/24/18. It costs me more a month for cartridges than it cost for the printer! Ridiculous.

Better than substitute brands
Tried aftermarket stuff. Other colors are fine. Magenta is definitely better in Brother brand!

Overpriced Toner
Very disappointed with Brother printer. One color toner canister depleted in the middle of a print job, and it wouldn’t let me print anything, even though it was black and white. I ran to Staples, and out of an abundance of caution bought all colors as well as black, and it’s a good thing I did, because the other canisters depleted one by one and neede to be replaced. E...

Too expensive - Almost as much as buying a new printer!
The replacement toners for these printers are outrageously priced!! You may as well just buy a new printer instead of replacing the toners!
