easy to use
I'm not very techie, but this is perfect. Out of the box and using within minutes. There are other features which I will need the insturctions for, but for basic recording and downloading the files with the built in usb is perfect. 5 stars from me!

Lack usability features, need redesign firmware
I basically cannot use it because it is so impossibly annoying to delete files.
Deleting a file should be a 2 click process on the last recording or the selected file, or the entire folder, but instead it is a convoluted menu navigation with confirmation over confirmation. It takes forever to delete my usual 20-30 memo messages once I've transcribed them. Should really...

I love my Sony voice recorder
I I have been using Sony voice recorder for over 12 years I cannot imagine living without it I tell everyone that they should have one the built-in USB drive makes it even better

ICD-PX370 Digital Voice Recorder
Easy to use. I'm not tech.savvy, but I like the basics of the recorder. I plan to use in my medical encounters with my doctor as my patient summary never reflects the actual comments made in meeting. This will help in verifying actual comments.

Great for taking notes
I use it for taking quick notes like items I need for my grocery list. Keep it in my pocket so I can take a note anytime. It is great for me and saves having to find a pencil and piece of paper.

Pluses: Good Sound, decent range
Minuses: No way to rewind playback without going to the start of the record, sketchy operating instructions on one large sheet, needs a detailed op manual.

Great little recorder with lots of options
This recorder offers lots of recording and playback options. The basic operations are explained in the printed guide that comes with the recorder, but the online Help Guide (referred to in the printed guide) is very thorough. I had no idea this little recorder could do so many things when I bought it! Now I feel like I've gotten an even better value.

Nice item
A handy mono Dictaphone. well built and functional. Sound quality is more than good enough for what it is made for. Price is fine (around £35)Couldn't ask for more.

Worth the Purchase
For the money, this is an excellent recorder for committee/board meeting recording for minutes. The recording quality is excellent, it is easy to use, and to transport. I was really please beyond my expectations.

Hard to use

The only problem is that it is difficult to find the recording when you wish to go back to it. It will list the recording by date, which is not so helpful if you record several matters on the same date, and I need to look into this further. However, the quality of the recording is very good. I'm very pleased with the quality of the sound.

Great recorder for Administrative Use
I use this recorder for meetings to ensure accuracy and detail. All voices are clearly picked up, even in our larger meeting spaces. The battery life is great. Power Buton Problem
I have a Sony ax412f, it's very similar to this model. My concerns it's about the power button, with a year the power button became to fail. High difficulty to turn on the device, hold position don't work anymore. It's a big flaw for an expensive device, and all your models use the same button style.
