Creaky Uncomfortable Chair
Very creaky when I move and uncomfortable to sit for a long time (and I work from home!). I kept on sliding off and not much lumbar support that I got backaches from it. It doesn’t feel like the same chair I tried in the store! So disappointed!

Chair is sturdy very comfortable with evident good quality. I’m very satisfied with my purchase. I had it assembled and everything is fine and working perfectly. I highly recommend it; in fact I told my son this is the chair to get. He was looking around for a new chair for his home office.

Initial review
Packing excellent. Instructions clear and parts well labeled. As instructions say do not tighten bolts until told to do so. Seat is firm (more than the La-Z-Boy chair this chair replaced). Warranty is 5 years versus 10 for La-Z-Boy. I do not like the location of the seat height handle. It is so far back that you need to be off the seat in order to allow it to rise....

Problems with seat
The seat cushion leaned to one side and was unsteady. A phone call to Staples solutions diagnosed the problem and they sent me a new cushion and base. I have to say they were very friendly and helpful. Taking it apart and putting it back together was a pain however.

None of the adjusters work
This chair would be great if the adjustments worked which they don't: the height-adjust lever doesn't do anything and the tilt knob doesn't turn at all so the chair's back is constantly at an angle and provides no real support. A bad investment.
