Did the job!
When I needed to project from my Surface Pro 7 to an external screen, this adapter let me connect to an HDMI outlet in the wall. I used a 12' HDMI cable for extra flexibility.

OK, but returned It
Works fine for a single monitor, but I wanted to use it with two monitors. Instead, I purchased a J5create 8K USB-C to Dual HDMI Display Adapter and it works like a charm.
