Midland Weather Radio
This weather radio replaced an older Midland radio (still works). It's easy to setup and has all the features that you need.

BUYER BEWARE !
I am an I.T. guy and have spent over an hour trying to program this Unit. The Directions do not match up with what the MENU keeps displaying. Incredibly difficult to set up !!

Terrific weather alert radio
This radio does all they say it does and does all of it very well. It has very good reception, and clear instructions on how to program its many features. If needed, Midland Radio Customer Service is top notch - prompt helpful responses. This radio will give you peace of mind.

Great receiver
I had an older weather radio that wasn't picking up the signal too well. Replaced it with this one, and it works great! The FM receiver is also good, AM only picks up strong stations.

Wroks as promised
The WR400 has excellent sensitivity AND selectivity. I can monitor NWS stations over 60 miles away if the weather gets boring. Receives alerts and tests perfectly. Much better performance than the 25 year old Radio Shack unit it replaced.

Very sensitive and setup was easy
I'm a weather spotter and ham radio operator and I've owned several of these radios. The radio sits in a spot in my living room that has normally bad reception. The radio sounds very good in its spot and most importantly, receives alerts in a timely fashion.

I wanted a NOAA radio and did the research.
I have a Radio Shack Bedside Weather Radio 12-260. I did not know if it would give the proper alerts so I looked for another and I found Midland. I looked at both the WR300 and the WR400. I always seem to go for the higher end and when there was a $20.00 discount for the WR400 which made it less than the WR300, I jumped on it. It works as advertised and I had no problem...

Excellent Midland Weather radio with dual alerts
The radio was easy to set up and we were fortunate to have a weather alert the first week. The audio was clear and easy to understand, and the flashing red light was eye catching. I would recommend this product.

Know in advance about bad weather.
This is a very good weather alert radio, that warns of harmful weather events in advance. Very good design with am fm radio that sounds great. This radio has two alarm settings, so you can set it twice if you have more than one time at night to get up. This works great for taking medicine like I do.
