Why leave out the Black 281?
This includes a glossy photo paper but excludes very important 281 black. Doesn't make sense.

STICK TO NAME BRAND INK SUCH AS CANON
In the past I have switch to get a better prices but you get what you pay for!!! Never buy discounted or generic ink as they leak into the printer and cause problems down the road. Always buy name brand ink as it will not steer you wrong.

I installed the replacement cartridge as usual and the printer said "the cartridge cannot be recognized." I updated the drivers and that had no effect. Computer guy said "just buy a new printer." :(

Beware
The ink cartridges are very expensive and even if you never print in color (which I seldom do) they empty. I don't know where Staples got the $22.99 per cartridge - I paid $29.99! To make matters worse the printer won't print if even one cartridge is empty!

Way too expensive! I bought 2 and paid $69.00! Too bad this special wasn't going on when I was shopping! Makes me sorry I bought this Cannon printer!

Canon cartridges + free shipping!!
I always buy original Canon inkjet cartridges for my Canon printer. What was particularly nice about my last purchase with Staples was the free shipping. Staples prices are always very competitive but to receive free shipping in addition is great!
