3400 pages printed & counting
Very satisfied with the quality of Brother's high-yield toner cartridge. I maximized yield by changing the default settings to draft and to conserve toner. So far, I've printed about 3400 pages and still have 10% of the toner left. So everyone: change your settings to conserve toner and print draft copies (which still look perfect to me).

Toner empty after just 532 pages
I purchased a multifunction printer and was surprised to see that after just 532 pages of printing, I was completely out of toner. The TN-730 advertises 1,200 pages per ISO Standards. However, ISO Standards are based on filling up only 5% of the page, which is the equivalent of a short email. So if you are printing anything that covers more than 5% of the page, you will...

Not working
My printer still says change the drum. DR730 seems not to be what's wrong with Brother printer.

Avoid this product.
Received the "Replace Drum" notice three months after replacing one. In that time, I printed fewer than 1,000 copies--nowhere near the promised 12,000. Now I learned that my printer, HL-L2390dw, is being discontinued. I'm going to buy a new printer, and it won't be a Brother. Tired of paying high prices for toner and drums.

I am unsure if Im having difficulty w the drum or the printer. I replaced the drum when it arrived. But today almost 2 week later its telling me it needs replacing again. They normally last at least 3 months.

Who Knew The Drum was needed for a Brother Printer??

It was pricey, at $125, but it explains why the toner cartridges are less costly than other brands. The Drum is separate in a Brother Machine, while a new drum comes with each toner cartridge for other brands. So, we pay either way. It was easy to install.
The Staples staff person who explained this to me was terrific. Just buy and move on! OR---Maybe by two -...

Not the easiest thing to install
Expensive! Not the easiest thing to install, but I got there, and it is working fine. Now all I have to do is return the empty one to the store for recycling.
