Cheap quality of a classic game
Bought this with high hopes. The pieces are made of poor quality, the cards are heavy paper, not cardboard like they used to be. Plastic pieces are heavy film, not quality plastic like they used to be. The game board is flimsy, smaller and tri-fold rather than solid and bi-fold. Same Great Game
The quality is good and seems to be the same great game; the only difference, a couple of pieces have changed as well as some community chest cards.

Played this game 30 year ago now play with my kids and still love if!
We love it! My kids are 8 and 9 and have not stopped playing since we got it.

All Time Great Game
This version is slightly different from the original that I grew up with but not enough to change the play or my opinion of it. Played it with my grandkids on Christmas Eve and they loved it! That's what matters most.

I gave it as a Christmas gift & they loved it. Made my grandkids very happy. My youngest son their dad too. He remembers playing the original when he was young.

Hasbro Monopoly Classic Game, New Edition (HG-C1009
I was very pleased to be able to purchase the Hasbro Monopoly Classic Game at Staples. Previously I had not known that Staples even carried games. Staples--always to the rescue!
