Very poor color/print quality
I tried this because the true hp toner was out of stock when I purchased. I hoped that the staples product would be better than the other third party toners that I have tried in the past. The results were bad, see photo below what is solid purple from a different printer (on left) came out as very mottled purple and blue (on right) because of this toner quality.

TruRed has always worked well for us. Some other toners are messy and do not perform well.
