Not worth the money
We have tried these cartridges twice now thinking there was an issue with a specific batch, however not the case. We often have errors saying the cartridge is ready for replacement however we have only been using it for 2 weeks. Our average cartridge will last us 2 months.

Would love to have my $82 back!
Print quality is poor. Ink color is light grey. Unacceptable for my business.
These ink cartridges are expensive to begin with and trying to save the $25 is a waste of money when they do not live up to how they are advertised.

I am not satisfied with the Staples brand of the HP83X. I have used 3 boxes already this tax season and that is is too many as compared to last year. I find that the cartridges' do not last as long and also the ink is not as dark. I had to increase my setting so as to be a clear dark image (probably why I am using more). The price value is great - but not sure enough...

TRU RED Remanufactured Toner Cartridge
They are a half-a-step better than they use to be. But they still print a medium grey, not black. And the print still rubs off.

Print Quality Inferior
I compared the same report, one printed with an HP cartridge and one printed with this "remanufactured" cartridge. The print quality on this cartridge is light and fuzzy. Not worth the bargain for reports that are not usable.

Not an equal replacement
All printings come out noticeably faded with this cartridge, even when brand new. Not worth the savings.

Not convinced these are as good
I'm not 100% convinced these are as good as an HP original cartridge. When I print a shipping label and place the sticker on a package, the surface of the label feels chalky, like if I rubbed it, I could smear most of it off. I think I like the originals better.
