Horrible
Doesn’t tell you on the outside of the box that it won’t work with any WiFi that is 5ghz. Only uses 2.4.

Not what we were looking for
We live in a remote area, on satellite. The initial set up was okay but i'm not sure if we can use this device on our phone data plans. I had issues re-connecting when i was placing it in the area where we wanted to use it. For the price, it's probably good for someone who doesn't mind streaming data from their Internet.

Camera Good. Ap Bad
Camera works well except for a lot of false positives on Motion detection. The ap is terrible. You can't see discrete video segments. Video nav is practically non existent (see attached image). Color scheme makes reding time indices nearly impossible except in full screen mode. Alarms worked at first and then stopped. I have given them feedback multiple times and reques...

Vivitar Smart Camera..operating system sensitive!
Would not connect by operational directions. Apple Ipad 4th generation could not scan barcode and therefor could not connect to tablet.

Poor quality
The sound cuts in and out, the dashboard isn't super functional.... I'm definitely replacing this with another Kasa camera... far superior camera

Great Device
This device is great. It has sharp images and a nice focus. The pick-up sound is good and the size is smart for hiding in a secret place. I'm satisfied with my new Vivitar security mini camera.

just dont do it
I have also bought several of these. they just aren't getting it done. the app has been abandoned. cannot sign up for cloud account. they lock up and lose connection. real security cams are expensive for a reason, i guess. sorry....just being honest

Video is very clear but it skips a lot when it records and then is say you will only be able to keep the video for 7 days and you don’t have the option to save it to your sd card

i have three IPC112N and now an IPC112G. the "N" and it's app is amazing. the "G" requires a whole different app and is not nearly as user friendly imho. And the G requires a class 10 microsd to record locally. so...buy accordingly. if i could, i would return the 112G and get another 112N.
