WONDERFUL CHAIR

Very poor quality of workmanship
Both wooden arms were marred (dented/chipped). Seat and back both had a pulled thread at the seams that would only get worse over time. 3 Of the 5 star base legs were damaged (one split and two marred). This is made in China so it is hardly of any Serta quality.

Comfortable!
The fact that is reclines and has the lumbar support is the reason it was purchased. The color is very nice. It was a snap to put together.

The chair was delivered in a reasonable amount of time and everything looked to be in order during pre-assembly. I assembled the chair in about 45 minutes and all bolts and pieces aligned with some slight tugging. You have to make sure and not tighten the screws until you have all threaded properly. The back of the chair had a flaw in the leather and when I called the customer service number that was listed for problems, I was told it would take from 8 to 10 weeks to receive a replacement and to go ahead and assemble the chair to use it until the new part came. The chair is nice and comfortable, but one of the bolts in the resting arm has been stripped and and will not stay in. Thus only one arm rest of working, the other one is none existing.

Solid Construction, Poor Quality Leather and Strange Odour
Very solid construction, but the "eco-leather" is very rough and dry- ripe for cracking- also noticed strange odour after being in my small home office for a few days, I think it comes form the padding.

The chair is very comfortable, but it isn't the color shown on the website. There it has a more goldish or blondish tone. The chair delivered is brown. I think in the long run I'm going to be more pleased with the darker color.
