Beware USB type
The ad did not clearly specify that it would not work for earlier versions of USB.

Adapter does not work with iMac!
Staples tech told me this was the best adapter to get but it would not work with my iMac even after more than an hour on the phone with Apple support. Bought the Belkin adapter online and it was plug and play - worked instantly. Total waste of time with the j5create. If Staples doesn't have the right product they should just tell customers to order it elsewhere.

Easy to use
This product did exactly what I needed my friend was able to plug directly into his USB port and then display to a large monitor using the HDMI adapter.

Good for Presentations
Worked really well once we got the driver downloaded. That was the only part that threw us for a loop for a short period but was great once installed.
