I needed to connect a second monitor to my laptop. I had gone through three other purchases trying to find the right adapter with no luck so I wasn't holding out much hope with this purchase but was pleasantly and shockingly surprised when I took the adapter out of the box, plugged it in and happily, both monitors lit up. Great purchase and decent price.

Worked very well for my laptop
My laptop didn't have the right USB-C specification to plug in a monitor adapter. This one worked perfectly with 2 HDMI monitors and attaching it to my laptop USB-A port.

It seems to be working OK!
I wanted to connect two monitors to my laptop. Initially I got something online that LOOKED right, but it was a "switch" which allowed me to use either one of the monitors, but not both at the same time. So I returned it and went to Staples, where staff suggested this one. More than I wanted to pay, but less than a docking station.

Installing on an older computer
It was easy to set up and is backwards compatible. No hick ups. My wife's computer was older with all USB-A slots. So I needed one with an "USB-A" male plug. I needed drivers and this one had instructions for downloading drivers. Restart after installing drivers took a long time. About 1 to 1.5 hours.
