Small, Handy, and Excellent Quality
This notebook is not your standard college-ruled scribble pad, nor is it so small as to be confused with a pocket-sized memo-book. However, for its peculiar dimensions, it is not laborious to carry around and can hold a decent sized page of writing.

Inferior
I have loved these little half sized notebooks for years. They are just perfect for my classroom! I ordered two packs and received this TruRed brand instead of the staples brand. There are not tear out perforations, the cover is thinner and the quality of the paper is lacking. Combined with a higher price, I would not buy these again. Too bad, it had been an excellent p...

Pocket Size ease

Replacement for Swiss Army journal
Was happy to find this odd size that fits my zip up folio that I bring to meetings. The manufacturer replacement pads are thicker lined, and the guidelines are dark. The Staples notebooks have much lighter guidelines, and narrower lines. Wishing they could be double spiral bound and more pages.

Staples has great products like these where the 5 inch (including the white eraser) Staples blue in color mechanical pencil is a classic as well and needs to be part of the current product offering.

Too basic
Cover is card stock, susceptible to moisture and lacking durability; spiral binding is too small to hold a common sized pen and thats just annoying; number of sheets (80) is just not enough for practical use.
