Why won't Canon let us see into the Inkwell?
The 5 stars are for Staples great selection and price comparable to online pricing. 1 star for the ink. The tanks run out so fast now. Just how much ink is really in there? Aftermarket ink tanks have clear ink wells, so you can see how much ink is in there, but Canons are dark black so it's anyone's guess just what's inside. not worth it
Box says 11.4ml and the regular cartridge is 5.6ml. That is not in the product detail online. There may be some fixed wastage but the arithmetic based on ink volume suggests that regular cartridge is better value!

Canon ink cartridge
I have been using this ink catridge for over 2 years since i purchased the printer. i have always been satisfid with it. It usually last quite a bit of time. it isn't expensive as some cartridges.

Need to coordinate shipping
I ordered 2 ink cartridges and they were both delivered the next day. However, one came in a medium-sized box and the other in a plastic envelope - from the same address! Why can't these 2 items be combined in the same package? Seems like a waste of materials.

Came as advertised and pretty much on time
It's an ink cartridge, and although I haven't installed it yet, I am reasonably sure it will work. Pricey, but that's their business model.

Have not installed it yet. Looking forward to see if it will last at least 30% longer than the smaller cartridge, as advertised. Was surprised by the size of the box it was delivered in. Huge!! Must not have found a much smaller box that would have saved you some money, I think..

I rarely print, but can no longer get the type of ink I need locally. After checking Canon website, I decided to order larger amount thinking I wouldn't have to order as frequently. So ink came next day, great, then I checked expiration date. Ink is no good after Nov. 2020. I ordered toward end of July, so the ink will be out of date long before I would actually use all...
