Portable desk
Lightweight. Had ordered a more expensive lap desk. Got tired of having the weight on my lap. The light is a bit flimsy price was right!

Good size for the money and yes there is a light
The light is located in the zippered part underneath. Would be helpful if noted by manufacturer. Enough light to see keyboard

Good value
I'm enjoying it. Bought for a continuing ed. class that has no desk just chairs. My water bottle and the light make it really nice. Very good price.

I am very pleased with the lap desk its self but very upset I did not receive the light that was advertised to be included. I have tried to contact Staples regarding this matter but have unsuccessful.

simple
I guess you get what you pay for. It seems to working fine for my husband but there is barely any of the beaded filling so he still needs to have something under the Laptop Buddy. If you're looking for something simple and inexpensive then it is fine. But if you're looking for something that is comfortable and sturdy this isn't it.

you get what you pay for - piece of junk
The description of this item is wrong in multiple details. First this isn't made of wood - the top is cardboard covered by a thin layer of blue plastic (vs thick blue paint.) I know this since the one I received was damaged and had the blue covering peeled back on one edge. Second the light is not powered by 3 AA batteries but rather by 3 tiny calculator batteries Th...

Laptop Buddy
I have a 17 inch laptop and it covers almost all the Buddy. Can't use the cap holder but would work with a smaller laptop. I gave it a 5 because it does what it says and like the light that came with it. It is also cheaply made in China!!!and reflects the low price. Hope this helps.

Does 2 things padded bottom is more comfortable and tray keeps heat from computer causing problems..
