Worst tape tape dispenser ever
Has a new safety feature that very effectively prevents it from cutting the tape. The only thing good I can say about it is that after struggling with it for the day it was very satisfying to throw it in the trash.

Paper twist ties
Your email of Sept. 23 says that the paper twist ties were delivered on the 26th , but I have never received them. That is the last item of my order.
The packing tape & dispenser looks fine, looks like my old one, but since I have not had occasion to use it yet, I can’t comment. Other tape good. The string is good, strong , huge amount, should last a lifetime.

DO NOT BUY
I also left a review of this WITHOUT the extra tape roll. This is the worst tape gun you will ever own. I've wasted hours trying to get this thing to work, as the little blade that pushes out to cut the tape NEVER works. Awful, awful design. Look elsewhere.

Bad design
It doesn't work. The "safety feature" makes it impossible to use expose the teeth to cut the tape. Really frustrating to have to use scissors to cut the tape.

Bad mechanism
Bad mechanism and not worth getting it. When trying to cut it, it does not work without applying big force to the point of pain in the wrist.

Scotch tape dispenser
The spool moves so freely that when you pull down and cut it, it spins extra tape out which the gets stuck on the metal piece. Every time I had to manual pull the tape off the bar. Way too frustrating when doing a lot of taping

Would not recommend
The tape gun itself feels sturdy and quality, however when trying to tear off the tape the blade to cut the tape does not come out far enough to actually cut the tape. Complete waste of money and time.

Pretty disappointed in this product. It does not cut the tape properly, some times it doesn't cut it at all. When the tape gets cut, it always gets wrapped back up on the role of tape.

Safety feature function fail
This is the most maddening thing ever. I have used hand-held tape dispensers for well over 20 years.
The safety feature of a retractable cutter fails as it is impossible to put enough pressure on the cutting blade to cut through the shipping tape without the tape wheel just continuing to spin. Returning this "new/improved" dispenser and going to try to find an old-sch...

Poorly redesigned
I have the OG model of this dispenser from the 90's. I wanted a new one for home because the old one is for the office. They now included a safety feature so that you have to put pressure on the plastic tab to expose the teeth to cut the tape. And it doesn't work.
