ECONOMY INK MIGHT NOT BE WORTH IT.
I bought this economy ink because I don't print much. I only printed two pages so far and the ink is fading and I can hardly read the paper. However, my ink monitor shows a full symbol. Thinking now that the economy ink might not be worth the trouble

Just right!
Replaced two cartridges with economy Black and Yellow, then printer quit working. Since I am retired, I don't use it much. I took it offline for a couple of days, then brought it back up and it works fine. Seems to have developed a "mind of its own", but still really love it. All of the HP products I have purchased are "great". Printer is old, like me, but gets better. ...

Printheads are bad on my printer
Had to return. Thought I'd try to see if HP ink cartridges would help with old printer but did not. Think the HP ink cartridges were fine. But print heads are shot. New print heads cost as much as a new printer so not worth spending on old printer

Short Cartridge
I believe this particular cartridge HP88 Economy Black was short on ink. It is already exhausted and they usually last 3-4 months. Took less than a month to be COMPLETELY empty. I didn't even receive the "low ink" warning on this one........
