defective
used for one print and then printer "did not recognize" the ink cartridge. Reinstalled and shook multiple times with no fixing the problem.

Epson Fail...
These and all other T157 Ink cartridges for the Stylus Photo R3000 printer have an approximately 1 in 20 chance of being bad out of box or after one or two prints. They are equipped with a chip that counts down the number of times that the cartridge has been called on for ink and this chip is what tells the printer when the ink is "out" but it's based on the "count" and...

excellent quality & function
Function perfectly, high quality inks that dry quickly and stay bright. Very consistent in color. Epson rocks.
We switched to the Epson 300 from a 4800 since we do not print 16x20. Love the printer and the results.
