defective
used for one print and then printer "did not recognize" the ink cartridge. Reinstalled and shook multiple times with no fixing the problem.

Great ink, wonderful color, easy to install, but only overnight delivery since it is not carried in the store, and the ink does not last very long before it is used up.

epson ink cartridges
the cartridges were mailed in thin padded envelopes. The cartridge boxes were bent and crumpled at the ends when they arrived. I don't think the packaging was adequate or protective. I've not opened the cartridge packages as I don't need the ink at the moment, so I am not sure if the cartridges themselves were damaged. Poor packaging.

Crushed packaging
The past 2 times that I have ordered inks to be shipped, they look like they have been trampled, packaging and all. I haven't installed the cartridges yet (I got 2 that came in separate envelopes stapled together) and just hope they are not damaged.

Ink is good, printer is high maintenance
I enjoy the ink as it displays well on high end photographic paper. With that said, I would stay away from the Epson 3000 Photo Printer that this ink is made for as the printer is high maintenance and is unpredictable on the print quality due to some black ink splotching out on the print at the wrong time. Epson makes great printers but they swung and missed on the Phot...
