Using the Manufactures Ink in printer
I want to make sure that my printer lasts as long as possible, so I use the Manufacture's Ink Cartridges.They work excellently, no leaks, no spills, and the ink flows perfectly without gaps.

ink clogging print head.
Brand new cartridge, installed within a day of delivery, used within the following day, clogging the head. Now I am wasting all the ink just trying to get the head to clear.

Epson 159 ink car.
Have ordered a few times from Staples, for the 159 ink. Absolutely 'no problems'. @ wish's.....1..slight reduction of price would help, especially when ordering a full set of ink, or more. 2. Wish could purchase 159 ink with larger amount...thus...159xp.

Fine ink.
The ink is fine as always. Epson makes a consistant product. Quill delivers on time, but the coupon games will drive you crazy. Now Epson inks are usually excluded from discounts and the ridiculous offer to pay for discounts is not going to fly. Other vendors are happy to give deals for volume. I use 180 ink cars a year minimum.

The Epson r2000 printer uses the 159 inks which have provided me with consistent results year after year. I print approximately 3600 8.5x11 prints yearly for one client and and the consistency is one of the reasons I have had them for over 20 years.
I also print 12x18's for other clients and myself, many of them for decor and art projects.

I appreciate the rebate program, but even with that, the cartridges get expensive due to short life of most popular colors.
