Locked out setting safe up
The safe opened with the preset code but now won't open with the new code I set up and will not open at all

After purchasing I read the reviews, I would agree with the opening issues. Although I was able to reset the combination and worked ok. However, the lock itself doesn’t turn easily and the lid itself is a struggle to open- it sticks and had nothing to grasp to actually pull the top to open. Don’t buy!
Have had other sentry safes in the past and thought they were great. However this one my boyfriend set the new code and it has never has opened ever since. After reading the reviews this seems to be an ongoing issue and seems like there is defect happening. Lock Doesn't Work
Set my own combination and tested to be sure I could open. No problem. Second time I attempted to open it, it would not open. I now have a safe that is permanently locked. Just glad it is empty and not tethered in a hotel room somewhere. It is too bad because otherwise this seems to be just what I was looking for. Compact. Lightweight. Steel.

The door is crooked, so closing the safe is not very convenient. The quality of the inner insert is not very good.

Poor design
We bought this safe for my Child to take to college. We opened it the day before she left to set it up. It locked itself before we could even set it up. Now we cannot get in to it. So basically useless to us. I would not recommend this item.

P005C Portable safe
Not very secure. Cheap tin and could probably be pried open with a screwdriver. That being said, I bolted the cable to a seat bolt in my jeep and stuffed it under the seat to stash some money while on vacation. If anyone sees it they could probably yank on it and pull the cable right out of the box.

Do not purchase this lock box!!!!
The lockbox failed to open with my correct combination code that I’ve had since I got it. It’s never once been changed!! So it is def a manufacturing malfunction of the combination lock on this particular box!! I have attempted to email sentry safe three times now and I’ve called their support contact number twice also. Was on hold once for exactly 45 min the first time...

Broke
I used it for about a week until what im guessing was the lock jumped code and I was stranded in the middle of nowhere on a hunting trip with my keys and cell phone locked inside of it. Had to pry it open and pretty much destroy it.
