dependable quality
Hammermill delivers dependable quality in this 24 lb. paper. We print reports for clients and want the paper to feel substantial and hold up to repeated handling. Great product at this price point.

Not par with other premium paper we've bought
Was disappointed with how it held up with color printing. Color stuck smeared on the paper, which doesn't happen with other paper we have purchased.

Good paper for printing. Has little show through and is pretty smooth.
Okay with fountain pens, but not the best. One side of the paper takes pen ink pretty well but the other side makes the line fatter. Slight bleeding & ghosting

Hammermill Premium Multt-Purpose Paper
We love the paper and being a CPA Firm we use a lot of it but the reams are very hard to get open and during tax season, our busy time of year this takes time. It would be great if they could come up with an easier way to open them.

Rarely jams
This paper costs a bit more but I can depend on a good weight which prevents jamming.
I use this paper often to cut and paste images as collage. It holds up to being torn and glued.

Hammermill Premium Multifurpose Paper, 24lb., 500/Ream.
This is my choice for the weight of paper I need for my Family Genealogy Book. Printing on
both sides of the paper is not a problem, with this weight paper. I also like it best because it is
stated on the cover, "ACID FREE". It means this paper will retain the ink, pictures will still be
good 50 years from now!!!
For my book, "Acid Free" is worth the extra few dollar...

Sometimes You Need Better Paper
I usually use 20-lb. weight paper, but sometimes you need something more substantial for a special printing job. I like to keep a ream or two of this paper on hand for those times.
