I really like my Brother printer. These cartridges are fairly simple to understand and install. The out of toner message occurs early, so we block off the part of the toner that allows notification with a piece of taped paper. We then replace the toner when the print quality starts to decline.

Brother TN-720k Black Standard Toner Cartridge
I put in the new ink cartridge and although the printer states that it has accepted the genuine new Brother ink cartridge, the printing is just as bad as the old cartridge- printing faded and weak.
