love it
This review is not so much about the quality of the ink itself. I just wanted to say how easy it is to order ink from the hp store. I ordered it at 7pm and it was waiting for me in the mail when I got home from work the next day. Can't beat that!

Doesn't work
System required "Genuine" HP Cartridges. Much more expensive than refills. I did alignment, 3 levels of cleaning and pictures STILL have streaks.

HP XL Long lasting
I like the HP XL cartridges. They do last a long time and I print in color all the time throughout the day in my small business. I used to try to print a lot in black only, but with the OfficeJet Pro 8600 and the XL cartridges I find I know longer need to print black only to save color ink as the printer itself and the XL cartridges do save money and probably not that m...

The XL is the way to go!
The XL is the most economical approach to refilling your ink in a printer. Some time ago I bought some of those "refilled" ink cartridges. After 3 weeks my printer was toast! Now, I learned a tough lesson and I buy new cartridges.

Staples offers the Hp ink in the 951XL in single colors to purchase. I like this because I use some colors more than others . This way I can purchase the single colors I need at a good price.

Never had problem with an original HP cartridge, Had once purchase an outdated (expired) item from a local store. Opened the box before I notice the date - used it anyway again no problem. Tried Aftermarket/Refills do not last as long or preform as well.
