love it
This review is not so much about the quality of the ink itself. I just wanted to say how easy it is to order ink from the hp store. I ordered it at 7pm and it was waiting for me in the mail when I got home from work the next day. Can't beat that!

Doesn't work
System required "Genuine" HP Cartridges. Much more expensive than refills. I did alignment, 3 levels of cleaning and pictures STILL have streaks.

I exclusively use genuine Hp inks in my Hp printers. The resultant print jobs are superb. Colors are accurate and distributed evenly . This review is for HP951XL Magenta, but all of this line of cartridges work perfectly.

I use a lot of ink.....the XL size goes and goes like the bunny we all know.
Do not go for refilling old cartridges. You can only count on original HP ink for HP printers

Good Quality
I have a HP 8610 at home and a HP 8600 in the office. They both use the same ink cartridges which makes it very convenient for me. I purchase the XL because of the high volume printing that I do. I always buy the XL on the ink because it does last a little longer and it works well. It doesn't smear or anything and always looks good. I also can get points when I return the empty cartridges to the Staples store. I think you DO get your moneys worth when you purchase the XL on the ink. It's well worth the extra money to buy the XL ink.

We use to use other printers in our office. HP offers such a great quality ink cartridge that once we tried one printer and saw how great the printer was & how long the cartridges lasted.
