love it
This review is not so much about the quality of the ink itself. I just wanted to say how easy it is to order ink from the hp store. I ordered it at 7pm and it was waiting for me in the mail when I got home from work the next day. Can't beat that!

Doesn't work
System required "Genuine" HP Cartridges. Much more expensive than refills. I did alignment, 3 levels of cleaning and pictures STILL have streaks.

The only way to go...
Althugh the HP cartridges are not inexpensive, they are a quality product. Friends with the same printer often by 'knock-offs' for less money, but the quality is not the same. the brillance and depth of color are significantly better (thus worth the addtional expense) and there is never an issue about leaking cartridges and smearing ink!

this is a standard magenta ink cartridge the same as the other ones we use. it is the same quality and works the same as the others. By ordering on line we same the hassle of going to the store and it is delivered in two days. It is a good idea to have a back up cartage available. I love the XL
They XL ink cartridges last so much longer than the regular. HP is fantastic! I really like my printer and the XL ink makes it that much more pleasurable. If You Have an HP Inkjet printer that requires the HP 951 series You can not beat the quality and longevity of the XL. NEVER FAILS
I only use authentic HP replacement cartridges. More expensive (look for sales and join office supply clubs that offer /points and discounts) but worth the reliability. Business documents print clear and sharp. Photos are true to color.
