love it
This review is not so much about the quality of the ink itself. I just wanted to say how easy it is to order ink from the hp store. I ordered it at 7pm and it was waiting for me in the mail when I got home from work the next day. Can't beat that!

Doesn't work
System required "Genuine" HP Cartridges. Much more expensive than refills. I did alignment, 3 levels of cleaning and pictures STILL have streaks.

Printer cartridges do not go as far as they used to as on previous models, but the ink has gotten better.

always use genuine ink cartridges
I always use genuine HP ink because of a problem with my HP printer when I tried to save a few dollars and went with a cheaper alternative. I learned a very expensive lesson by having to replace the printer. HP ink cartridges give you more pages of print and better quality printing text and photos. HP ink is well worth the money in the long haul.

HP 951XL inks
The HP 951 XL inks work well and last a long time. They are easy to replace in my Office jet 8600 and are a good value.

I would give this Ink a 5-Star Rating
The HP 951XL Ink is worth the extra money...for they will last 3-4 times longer than the average ink cartridge. I am in Real Estate and do alot of printing. I couldn't believe how long and good qulaity prints I get!!! I'm a happy customer! The only negative is with my printer that won't print if one of the color cartridges runs out...HP 8600 ProPlus

high price
Ink should be more economical. Cartrige is of good quality, but quite expensive. I have a one woman show, a small office, and believe me, I find price could be lowered. Overall, I love the product.

quick and easy and clean

I've had many printers over the years but Hewlett Packard has always been the BEST! I also learned to use ONLY HP ink in them, as well. It's not worth one's time or $$$ to refill. They are ALWAYS available in Staples and when I can't get to the store, I order and get it the next day.

Quick to change, long-lasting
There's not a lot to say about these cartridges, other than "they work." Price is OK, performance has been great in the Officejet Pro 8600. Ink system provides ample warning and I don't have to change the XL cartridges more than every 4-6 months.

Great but NOT cheap!
I cannot remember a time when I did not own an HP printer so I am very familiar with HP inks. I have used them all, single cartridges, multi-cartridges, XL-cartridges, you get the idea.

I like the xl as it lasts longer and the hp is a great printer. I bought the black xl first and it lasted a lot longer than the regular ink.
