love it
This review is not so much about the quality of the ink itself. I just wanted to say how easy it is to order ink from the hp store. I ordered it at 7pm and it was waiting for me in the mail when I got home from work the next day. Can't beat that!

Doesn't work
System required "Genuine" HP Cartridges. Much more expensive than refills. I did alignment, 3 levels of cleaning and pictures STILL have streaks.

What can I say. It’s OEM.
Hey, works like a new HP ripoff OEM printer cartridge. I could have bought 3-4 new printers with what I have spent on HP cartridges.

Damaged cartridges
Ink cartridges yellow and cyan were damaged. I put in printer and can't return because I opened the box.

HP yellow 951 XL
What I print uses almost twice as much yellow as the other color cartridges. So I have purchased the extended length 951 yellow so do not need to change it so often. Thanks

Too expensive
It’s not Staples’ problem that HP inkjet cartridges (when all 4 are added up) are the same price as the d—m printer. But we should have known that they’d trap us. At least Staples has the individual XL color cartridges. Can’t get 951XL combo pack any more unless you’re willing to throw away money on off brand cartridges that don’t work. Arghhh!

XL needed for this color
XL is needed for yellow and cyan. Only need regular for magenta. Unfortunately only XL was available in store for magenta so I had to order. At least yellow was available and works great.

Worth higher up front cost
If you are still using a cartridge based inkjet printer, then the extra cost up front for the XL cartridges makes sense. One is able to print so many more pages as compared to a regular 950 cartridge. But overall cost for cartridges is an issue.
