I like the xl however l have been told that Lexmark is no longer making printers. I have switch to hp.

Lexmark
Printer Ink for the Lexmark is very expensive compared to other brands. I will purchase another brand of printer that is more cost effective with regards to the cost of ink. The printer price is not the issue with any brand it is the aftermarket costs that jerk my hide.

Lexmark is a very good printer but the only place I can purchase the cartridge is at Staples it is fast and easy and the serve is great!!

Average product
Lexmark ink does not give u your $$$ spent worth on the product. When the cartridges reach the half full point the colors start fading on your printed paper. Only getting half of the ink then you have to replace in order to get the same quality print job. The Lexmark XL ink is no better just more expensive.

Works Great! Great Price!
This program is great as well as the product. By returning your cartridges you get a credit towards your future purchases and more importantly it helps the environment. Good for Quill to institute this program.

Works fine - wish it lasted longer
This ink cartridge is a good price but it seems to run out of ink quickly. I wish it would last longer.

The ink installs easily but will tell you that it's "low" days after installing it. Whether you use regular or extended. The solution is to just keep printing until it actually looks faded. You will get about another 50-100 pages.

I seem to go through these cartridges quickly and not even printing much. I even changed to draft mode hoping to get longer use of the cartridge. Perhaps the ink begins to dry since I don't do a lot of printing.

Use a lot !
Just put new ink in and looks a little more gray than black !
