too thick
This letter opener is best suited to cut butter. Not sharp at all. Tears envelopes.

Worthless
A hangnail cuts better than this worthless object. It doesn't slice an envelope open, it rips half of the top of the envelope off.

A Little Dull
This letter opener is designed good, like a steak knife. The only complaint I have is that the blade isn't sharp, and it doesn't open mail smoothly. I'm hoping with a little sharpening it'll work like a champ!!
