Doesn't Fit Legal Paper!
The dimensions of this box are of the OUTSIDE (which has a sizable lip around the edge). Legal paper will not fit in it, which is what I purchased it for. Returning! Very misleading, because this item came up when I searched for legal paper containers.

Not for Legal size documents
They use outside measurements instead of inside measurements, so it didn't work for my legal-size documents. I purposely purchased this to handle legal size papers. It is well made and will work well for my letter-size documents.

My Favorite Document Box.
I really like the quality of this document box. They have a great look with the blue locking handles. A very important feature for my use, is the way they can be stacked. The dimensions given are for the lid, NOT the interior size.

Good product, wrong size
I got one of these at a store and tried to order more online. Apparently, the one I got at the store was the last large size in existence. I didn't realize this was the 14" instead of the 16" version. I wish I could find the 16" version!

not big enough for a folder
The box is sturdily built but the inside is only big enough for 8.5x11 paper. The folder the paper fits in will not fit into the box. Five stars because I am using them for storing my beads instead of documents.

Strictly only fits papers.
Perhaps I should’ve read more carefully the measurements this document box had. Just wanted to write this review for those who are needing to organize their files but they’re all in folders or file folders and they want to find a box to put them in. Love these!
These hold a whole ream of paper and keep it neat and dry until you need more. They also store a large file or project you are working on and keep everything together. Very sturdy and well worth the money.
