Did not perform as advertised
I bought this thinking it would last longer than the smaller cartridge. I got less than 30 printed pages. Office Jet Pro 8500 constantly is cleaning the printheads, etc. using up ink as if it were water.

The best ink ever
I brought my printer over a year ago. In my business, I use a case of paper every week. This ink has lasted me through 3 cases of paper and never let me down. I recommend using HP ink for all of your printer needs.

Too expensive for ink
Ink is far too expensive for the little amount in each cartridge. Ink runs out too quickly and the cost of such a small amount is extremely over board. The industry is a big rip-off and ink does not go on sale often enough

I buy ink only as I need it because it is all too expensive, no matter where you buy it. There is no significant difference in the price, no matter where you shop. I just look for any place that has it on sale. Like I say, it is not the vendor, it is the manufacturer that is gouging everyone. They know it is a necessity, so they are in control. HP Printer Cartridge
we have use the printer cartridge for years and find them to work perfectly for us...but we hope that it would last longer. those cartridges aren't cheap. even though we get a rebates returned cartridge. it would be even better if they were cheaper.
that my suggestion, but i need them i use them and they work for us.

Lasts a long time!
I really like this ink. The colors are vivid and they last a long time! I don't have to change the cartridges nearly as often as I had to with the last printer that I had. It has definately been a big money saver!

This product has served me well
I have had nothing but excellent performance out of HPs XL cartridges and I have been using them for over 5 years. Never had a failure yet and do a lot of printing and have used a lot of these cartridges. I highly recommend HPs cartridges and especially the XL for their cost advantage over the regular ones.

Hp always puts forth a good product. There in a unit package makes it easy to obtain all colors at once rather than returning to the store for individual units. The pricing is competitive and Staples never runs out.

Nothing Beats HP Ink in a HP Printer
We have tried to save money with having depleted and used HP cartridges refilled. We also tried purchasing generic brands, but they too seem to act up before we deplete the ink, so we wind up throwing them away and buying more of the same type, with the same poor results.
