Did not perform as advertised
I bought this thinking it would last longer than the smaller cartridge. I got less than 30 printed pages. Office Jet Pro 8500 constantly is cleaning the printheads, etc. using up ink as if it were water.

This ink is everything you can hope for in an ink! It's easy to install! It dries quickly. It hugs the paper like a long lost lover! This ink is fabulous. It comes in 4 colors- which is very helpful! Expensive But What Ya Gonna Do?
Ink lasts a reasonable amount of time. Not impressive, not really disappointing. Staples almost never offers a discount on this product and has a "take it or leave it" mentality. Expensive and there is no alternative. My printer won't work without it!

The HP 940XL/940 cartridges are value for money and last a long time too. I was always under the impression that InkJet printers had a high running cost, but since I have been using the HP 940XL/940 cartridges, I have come to realize that it is very economical indeed.

Fast and Accurate

Long lasting
The HP 940XL lasts for an amazingly long time with crisp, never fuzzy printing. The Cyan, Magenta and Yellow also last and I print digital pictures so I appreciate the true colors.

This printer and ink have been very reliable. I have had this printer for several years without issue. The quality is good for the price I paid. Price for the ink is comparable to other similar printers and lasts as long as my last printer.

Consistently usable ink cartridges
I learned a lesson years ago when I bought re-filled ink cartridges. So, I recycle my empty HP cartridges, look for coupons, and bought the 10% "card" to get the best deal on new HP cartridges. (I do wish that the base prices would be less, but...)

this ink package is great at this price. Always watch for specials and recycle your empties for rewards.
I love my HP! So reliable and flawless. Only problem I ever had was in not realizing the printing heads (different from cartridges) do wear out. So when yours is almost two years old and getting funky, just replace the heads and your machine will run like its firts ...
