Did not perform as advertised
I bought this thinking it would last longer than the smaller cartridge. I got less than 30 printed pages. Office Jet Pro 8500 constantly is cleaning the printheads, etc. using up ink as if it were water.

I use the product a lot for my Home Based business, a Desktop Publishing Business... I use it for graduation announcements and funeral programs with pictures and graphic .. the pictures come out nice, bright and clear...

Good product just expensive
Good product but pricey. I wish you could use off brand or refilled cartridges to keep cost down. Printer won't work with those plugged in though. HP has you captive.

This is the ink you need to make many copies of your work. Excellent colors show through and this ink last. The XL extends the printing quality in a good and excellent manner. why does Ink cost so much
I 'm very perplexed as to the cost of Ink. Like everything else it seem misappropriate to what the actually cost of materials cost. If I could stop using my computer and conduct my business prior to 1980 I would, but that is unrealistic. Great Value
This product is a great value for the price and saves time because you do not have to run to the store when you run out of ink. The ink lasts a long time and the quality of the color is good. I would buy it again in the future and would recommend it to my friends. I think HP printers are the best and the ink lasts alot longer than other types of inks.

Staples always does me right. Kind, courteous staff who seem to be very knowledgeable about their products. I'm in the store so often they seem to know me by name. They will even do 'price matching' for you and this has saved me greatly over the years.
