Did not perform as advertised
I bought this thinking it would last longer than the smaller cartridge. I got less than 30 printed pages. Office Jet Pro 8500 constantly is cleaning the printheads, etc. using up ink as if it were water.

Well worth the money.
This printer is used for church bulletins and other church business. The colors are sharpe making the printing look very professional.

Always works
Bought printer for business use but now it gets mostly household and NFP organization use. The cartridges are easy and the ink looks great, even when I do two-sided copying. It's on the expensive side, but I'm not comfortable with knock-offs.

Save Your Money
The XL gives long life and is a cost savings. The standard 940 is short life and not worth the small savings if you are a heavy user. The XL is more cost effective

Good Value in the combo pack
I use this for both business and personal. Great product. The only problem I have found that when I'm just using black, the colors tend to deplete as well.
